Jul. 12th, 2007 12:52 amUm, hi. New here. Name's Rosalee LuAnn, but thats Rosie to you all.
I've been poking around this community the last couple days--great fun. I look forward to getting to know all of you. :)
One of the things I like to do when I'm not reading obsessively (or painting, or baking, or sleeping...) is make ambigrams. An ambigram is a word that can be read from different directions. There are all sorts of ambigrams, but I stick to the simple turn-upside-down kind. It's easiest to make a word read the same way right-side-up and up-side-down, because once you're half done you're finished, if that makes any sense, but it's also fun to make words read differently each way. If that makes sense. I'm not explaining this very well... *facepalm*
Anyway, I promise I'm not posting this just to ramble. (One of my greatest shortcomings. I either say far too much or nothing at all.)
This is where this all starts to be on-topic. ;)
I wanted to share some ambigrams I made inspired by MWT's amazing books. I have yet to make a satisfactorily readable one of "Eugenides", which has been driving me crazy, but here are some that turned out.
