I'm going to type up the rest of the questions that have been posted right now, and re-word the letter a bit. Just print out the letter on the day and any questions that come in afterwards will be added to a new letter to be sent in the summer. It seems the best way to do it - we don't want to overwhelm her with too many questions at once after all. :)

Yes, buttons are awesome. Can we whip something up over AIM or suchlike, as it's time-sensitive? But let's make them say/look cooler than that..."short girl with glasses" probably won't take kindly to such pins :)

That sounds right, although I haven't finished re-reading it, so I'm not quite sure on any of the details. Do you want just "Pet Gaurd" on it, with black and white and no colors? And just plain Times New Roman font, or did you have something else in mind?

What would an attolian crest look like? Or, for the matter, a picture of Costis. I believe someone put a fanart a while ago that was good, I forget who though.

An Attolian crest...maybe two crossed swords underneath a crown/ laurel wreath? Bordered by...a greek spiral design?

Sorry it took me so long to reply. My aim is octopiock too.

The problem with creating our own crest is that I can't draw, so someone would either have to draw it and then scan it on, or we would have to copy and paste stuff together on the computer... I'm not sure what you would prefer.
