I think I prefer the cover artwork on these two moreso than the others. It is all very beautiful, however.
Do we know what the flowers are? I only ask because flowers are still pretty important in Japanese culture, and I am sure the artist chose them for a reason. On Vol 2 here, they look like white orchids--generally a sign of rare/delicate beauty--to me, and are those grapes on Vol 1 (or something similar to a muscadine?). Vol 1 of QoA looks like it has a species of purple orchid on the back, and the flowers on Vol 2 look like some sort of lilly. And Thief has got some sort of berry on the back as well. I guess I'm focusing on these because they interest me more than pictures of the characters...and they are so well drawn.
