I beg your pardon...and apologize with deep contrition to any publishers floating around the community. I suffer from chronic hyperbole and should learn to pay attention to what I'm saying.
I do own very beautiful books, not the least of which is QoA. Vintage, as far as I can tell, turns out consistantly lovely volumes (not only pretty to look at but a joy to hold; I love the way the pages are so, um, floppy. Not the best word but the only one I can come up with) and I'm grateful for the effort that went into producing them.
But none of them have illustrations quite like that (well, my hardback Subtle Knife does do graphics in the page corners - and I hope to get my hands on The Dreamhunters before too long) and it was a surprise.
Never mind. I should stop posting when I'm this tired.
