Backlog from the...chat we had yesterday

Well, first I showed up, and sat for a while until Avian came, and then she had to leave, and then ceecee44 showed up, and Penguinkye showed up for a little while...

We did have some ontopic discussion.  I edited out a bit between ceecee44 and I discussing similarities in our places of origin ('cause I'm not sure how she feels about throwing that out there).
