Hi everyone! I'm new here, but I read The Thief last fall at the urging of my roommate, and I have read the whole series three times since! I have also followed the fandom on Tumblr, and wanted to let you all know that there's a post going on here that quotes a speech MWT gave where she said that she has read posts on this community specifically. She says that "most readers are able to come to the conclusions she has come to (ie gen’s age, etc) but she loves that people are able to determine these things on their own." So, basically, this community has it right in regards to ages, but keep your headcanon wherever you want.

I then came over here to see what you guys had concluded in re: ages and the timelines made a lot of sense, which made me happy because characters having indeterminate ages is a pet peeve of mine. I wanted to ask, though, is there anything concrete on Sophos, or just a general idea of him being around Gen's age within two-three years?

So excited to see that this is an active, thoughtful community with a love for our favorite thief!
