Funny story:
My two sisters got me involved in the series a few years ago by letting me borrow their books when they visit me. Over New Year's I asked one sister to bring the KoA because I wanted to read it and hadn't purchased it yet. I finished it in the time she was here and it went back with her. When she got home to put it away, she saw she already had the King in her shelf. Assuming it was our other sister's copy, she went to go return it only to find that Lily had her copy already. We think Eugenides has been playing tricks on us because none of us remember buying that copy! Now when we visit each other we're going to just keep stealing each other's books and replace it with our own. Very fitting I think.
