Eddis, Attolia, Sounis

I always assumed that that meant fair for dark skin. So very very pale brown. Isn't it said over and over that Eddisians have dark colouring? And that Gen mentioned an Eddisian mother in his records to explain his dark colouring?

I could be wrong. I'll double check.
