I love getting to see people discover new worlds. Yes! Handspun yarn is a reviving art, and I like to bring my own particular brand of geekery to it. Knitters and crocheters can get one-of-a-kind yarn that machines can't make from handspinners.
I actually posted on my own journal a bit of a treatise on some of the other geek spinners I've found on the handcraft-vendor site Etsy, if you wanna come see some other peoples' takes. ^-^
~ the photo: I was amazed how cool that one turned out! It's perfect and looks very nice in the shop, too. The yarn is so floppy, it photographed thematically as well.
