rj_anderson was nice enough to send her ARC of A Conspiracy of Kings for me to read way back in March and I promised her some fanart in return :)
I wanted to draw the scene where they say something like this:
"You need to marry me," he said.
"Yes," said Eddis.
"And I am a pig, like my uncle."
"No, you're not."
But of course I didn't have the book anymore because I sent it torashaka so I couldn't double check any descriptions and I made up most of the details... still! I hope you guys enjoy the drawing :)

And Sophos's scarred lip and his matching broken nose! And their different skin tones! And the yellowy-aged look of the drawing, like an endpiece from a children's book circa 1958! It's just perfect!
I squee in your general direction. Madly.
