I listen to alot of Librivox Audio books, they have some really good readers and they do it for FREE. Without a doubt my favorite reader is Karen Savage, and she has a whole lot of GREAT solo recordings, which are easiest to find from this page: http://www.karenrsavage.com/librivox.htm Of those listed on the page, I would recommend The Scarlet Pimpernel, Story of the Treasure Seekers, and The Secret Garden especially.
