It's from the cover of a book called The President's Daughter by Ellen Emerson White. The hut in the painting is the White House on the book cover. There's four books in the series and all their covers are based on paintings.

The series is excellent, actually. Very, very real. It starts out light and then gets darker, but it never loses this compelling freshness and believability.

Enjoy them! Just a warning (because they were recommended to me without one): the first two books are relatively light. The third one is traumatic. Really. And the fourth one is epic. (Also, really long. But worth every page.)
