Sorry to go off topic, but! I know there are a few fans of Jonathan Stroud's "Bartimaeus Trilogy" here at Sounis (I found the books through a While She Knits post, myself) and I just wanted to let people know (if they didn't already) that Mr. Stroud will be reading from and signing his new book today at Books of Wonder in Manhattan from 5:00-7:00.
Whoosh. That sentence was a lot longer than I intended it to be.
Anyway, if you're in the NYC area, maybe I'll see you there!
