Hi all!
I’m a recent lurker surfacing to say hello and thank you all. I’ve been a Queen’s Thief fan for a while, and what a surprise it was to find this site with so many people who feel the way I do! I used to wonder if it was normal to have so much angst over fictional characters. But, if it's not, it looks like I'm at least in good company! One thing I am fortunate enough to have is a dh who is also a huge fan. So,in the middle of the night when I poke him and it's not sweet nothings I whisper, but "You don't think Gen will..." well, he might not be happy, but at least he understands.
Mwt is brilliant, and so are so many of the ideas posted here. It’s one of my favorite parts of the day to see what new tidbits you all have come up with. Sadly, I don’t think I have much to offer in the way of wit or intelligence right now. I’m in the middle of NaNoWriMo and it seems to have eaten what few brain cells I began with. Sorry. Hopefully I will have something insightful to contribute come December.
Anyway, thanks for the awesome community.

Date: 11/12/10 01:02 am (UTC)I too have a dh who is a fan (although not as intensely devoted as me) and we have many such conversations. I love coming here for the variety of thoughts and opinions that go beyond ours and it provides great fuel for our conversations. :)

And I know what you mean about the evil internet - see where I am right now and not on Word... or with my family...or reading mwt?

Date: 11/12/10 04:39 am (UTC)By the way, I've heard of NaNoWriMo, but am still unclear of the details. It's writing a certain amount of words for a story during the month of November... right?
See you around! :)

Date: 11/12/10 07:03 am (UTC)You're in very good hands. And YAY for another NaNo-er! I'm terribly behind on my word count, but that's because I can't at the moment afford to blow the few bain cells I have. [I'm starting to think that schools should schedule things around NaNo.]
You know, maybe I should put on my "Things to look for in a guy" list 'is willing to admit the brilliance-ness of MWT/is willing to read MWT'.
On that thought, I probably should add 'does not oil beard'. :)
