can I just LOVE on that final quote by Ursula K. LeGuin? Because, seriously.

(I'm stealing it for my post about how Dragonhaven does what Life of Pi set out to do, only it actually DOES it and it does it BETTER but since it's YA fantasy and Life of Pi was Serious Literature For All Times, it won lots of prizes, and most people will never even hear of Dragonhaven, let alone actually read it.)

I think you may have decided me on Life Of Pi...I picked it up in the bookstore then skimmed a little, then skimmed a little toward the end, then dropped it like a hot potato. I had a feeling.

Mouses have two buttons: a left one and a right one. Right-clicking is when you click the right button, which has different functions than the left one.

I figured that, but I actually don't know what functions the right button has, so I avoid it. I have learned to copy links another way, so it doesn't seem to matter.

Funny things is, back in the late 80s I was really computer-savvy! Then they changed the computers and they no longer came with manuals you could read and suddenly there were mice and obscure pictures you were supposed to interpret. Once again the mammals drive out the dinosaurs.

Now I've put several of these books on hold at the library, & I'm about to be inundated with interesting books at the worst time of year to try reading, and it's *all your fault*!
