This would make total sense to me, if they weren't friends. I mean, what threat could a Sounis-Eddis alliance possibly be if Sophos and Eddis are Gen's good friend and close cousin? Ugh, I just don't see why they couldn't have been like, "Oh, yea, my uncle's dead now. I'm king. Let's just stop this war", instead of surrendering, and then have a three-way alliance. Why would any of them threaten any other?
