Any word on when the next book comes out?

I heard MWT is doing 3 more Queen's Thief books. Does anyone know anything on when the next one comes out?  Are we ever going to meet Eugenides' brother--the one who made the pocket watch?

Ummm....I hear there were going to 6 books - we've already had 4, which 2 left. Personally, I don't know of when the next book might be, but beleive me - when it does, Sounisians will be the first to know XD

The pocket watch brother - Stenides, right? We've only heard of him once so far, I think....It'd be nice to meet the rest of Gen's family - he has at least two sister's whose names we don't even know!!

All I know is that MWT is knitting writing it right now, that it is supposedly the second half of King of Attolia time and story-wise, and that it contains elephants.

I haven't been in Sounis for awhile - I just came to check out how the new book was coming along!

Since it takes place in the second half on KoA does that mean it takes place before ACoK?

Humm from what it looks: KoA (Gen wins military loyalty), a couple months passes???? to Sophos arrival at Attolia in ACoK (Since Gen has Attolia under reign, he takes the other two country next door) -> to 2nd half of KoA which might be titled something like The Annux of Attolia...(just saying, as original as can be) where he potentially* goes take care of the Mede problem if no other pressing problems are at home... :)

Hi ~ I've just finished reading all four of the Queen's Thief and I'm pleasantly surprised to find there will be two more books. Wow. I'm doing a little jig right now. The books are amazing, all the characters are well done, especially Eugenides. I hope you don't mind me jumping in.

At first I thought the Queen's Thief was a trilogy, so I didn't expect A Conspiracy of Kings, but... it does seem a new trilogy, with similar pattern. What I noticed first was how both the Thief and Conspiracy both used first person, only with different people. So my current guess, the next books will revolve more on Sophos as Sounis with Eddis. The fourth might be about Sophos establishing his authority over Sounis AND Eddis, and by extension Gen. With the ever present threat of Mede, both kings have to.

I must say I'm interested to see what kind of King Sophos is, it's rather difficult to see from the first person and Sophos is so different from the other royals that he's still rough diamond with hints of potential that Gen has (scholarly check, swordmanship check). The only notable difference is the lack of cunning and mask.
