So many nice paintings! Nice to see some names that don't seem to get a whole lot of love lately for whatever reason, like N.C. Wyeth and J.C. Leyendecker... along with those that people seem to be more familiar with, like Van Gogh and Mucha. Also some great paintings from names I don't know. Yay illustration! :D
My final show is now framed and soon to go up... so I'm visiting sounis now after working on some fanart. Experimental stuff, I'm still trying to figure out this whole digital painting thing...
Tor.com rocks! Have you seen their posts of artists A-Z? It was inspired by Jo Walton doing "what to read by Authors A-Z" posts.
For really cool pictures, start here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/24609723@N08/sets/ I especially recommend Oakland 03-30 and anything Reynolds. There's lots of gorgeous scenery & some fabulous fungus.
I came across the Artists A-Z when I was browsing there the other day, but haven't yet gone back to look more thoroughly. I bookmarked your photos to come back to. Lovely.
