Hey All!

It's been awhile! Good to see that everyone is still here, being awesome, and having wonderful thought-provoking discussions.

Anyway, I'd like to ask you all for some help! I'd like to make a sort of Newbie Guide to the Queen's Thief fandom. Like a directory of all the sites/blogs/resources that are available and may be hard to find for someone new.

SO, can you rec me any sites/blogs/etc that you think a fan of Megan Whalen Turner would want to know about? I already know about this community, of course, but if there are other LJ communities that you think are good, goodreads discussion groups, tumblr blogs, regular blogs, twitter accounts, facebook pages... basically any place where the fan community is gathering and/or good meta content is being produced, please let me know in the comments. Thanks so much for your help!

I know, that's mainly what got me started on this. I couldn't believe how much great stuff is on tumblr, so I want to make sure we're not missing out on anything else.

I believe there are two Tumblr sites dedicated to QT: http://thequeensthief.tumblr.com/ (http://thequeensthief.tumblr.com/) and http://heleneddis.tumblr.com/ (http://heleneddis.tumblr.com/). The last one, I think, is the official counterpart of Sounis on Tumblr. And it gets updated more frequently. ^^

...and I could have sworn I came across a Facebook group for Gen a couple of years ago, though I don't know what happened to it.

Oh, and in addition to our queensthief-fic community, there are lots of great works on Fanfiction.net (http://www.fanfiction.net/book/Queen-s-Thief-series/). There is also a forum there called The Land of Attolia (http://www.fanfiction.net/forum/The-Land-of-Attolia/52071/) where some fanfiction writers discuss the series. It's not as extensive as Sounis, but any discussion is great!

Thanks! I know how overwhelming it can seem when you're getting into a new fandom. Of course, the Queen's Thief fandom isn't that huge, but I have big dreams. :)

Omg, good call! I have seen some great art over there just by doing keyword searches. I will definitely include that in the guide. :)

Archive of our own (http://archiveofourown.org/tags/The%20Queen's%20Thief%20-%20Megan%20Whalen%20Turner/works) is another great place to find fanfic for QT. And don't forget the Goodreads group (http://www.goodreads.com/group/show/36224-sounis) with all its book recs!

Over on Archive Of Our Own (dot org), aka AO3, you can search by author, fandom, character, etc. When I searched under Our Author, there were 81 entries of fanfic; searching under the fandom found 79. Eugenides has 63, Attolia has 55, etc. There's lots of good stuff there!
