I've been lurking here for the past few months, enjoying updates through Twitter and Tumblr, but today I finally made an account so I could join in on the fun. Hi. I'm Rachel, but most internet people call me Mikkay. I first read the series in 2010--loved it then, but did not reread it until this past spring, whereupon my obsession cemented itself firmly and has yet to wane. (I'd started rereading The King of Attolia at work and ended up running home to finish it, beating the bus by a full six minutes. I don't need to explain my enthusiasm here, I'm sure. :3) I'm looking forward to getting to know you all, and I can't wait to chat and theorize and freak out spastically together! :D

Haha, thanks. MWT actually said it in one of her interviews way back when if I remember correctly... she was talking about how she was writing that short story about Eddis, and she was actually a really hard point of view character because she had no inner conflict, she was just super decisive, so... I want to be Eddis when I grow up.
