Interesting! I never thought of a combination of characters going on the list, but I think it works :-)
Years ago I read the first of the Bartimaeus books. I never went on because while I LOVED the Bartimaeus chapters, I had a really hard time getting through the Nathaniel chapters. They were just so boring. :-\
