He has that vision in this very section, actually! So by the end of Queen of Attolia, she's not carrying the weight entirely on her own--but then Gen leaves her for Attolia, and I don't recall reading that anyone else is aware of the situation until she tells Sophos at the end of Conspiracy of Kings.
