I think she might have been angry more with herself and her frustration with the situation.
Oh, I think you are right! I didn't fully understand why Helen was so angry with Sophos. But she had so many ulterior motives she couldn't tell Sophos about, plus her complicated plan had so many ways it could have gone badly, or crushed Sophos' feelings for her. No wonder she was frustrated and angry.
