I hope that for her, too. I think she will get there, if things go well for her. I worry about what would happen to her if she loses Gen or has more sadness in her life. But I thin Megan likes happy endings and hope these characters we love will get one.
I really hate it when authors decide that *someone* needs to die at the end of a series, just to have a more realistic ending. Sometimes it's so random (yes, J.K. Rowling and Leigh Bardugo, I'm talking about you). Ok, I admit that life is random like that, sometimes, but I still don't have to like it.
