I am here bearing good news:
My brother, who is 19, has always loved the Thief, but he just read The Queen of Attolia for me.
He was awed. So now he is working on The King of Attolia [sigh...I have cover envy, Mrs. Turner...] and very likely to be another hard-core fan.
So. Not just fangirls.
I, however, am a fangirl. It made my year to find that there was a third in the series. You can also read (I hope) my anxious interest, in that icon, for another book.
Wherein enter the sleeves.
There is too much to be resolved; we need at least three more books. (Right? For the world's sake, at large.)
I am a writerly person, preparing to submit my own fantasy manuscripts to agents, so I also have some of that kind of analysis on the brain a lot. I hope to discuss with everyone more extensively. The intelligent discourse of this community has been heartening, thank you for having me.
