Has anyone heard when (or if) an advanced reading copy will be released? It’s only just a little over 3 months until it gets released and don’t ARC’s come out much earlier so they can generate buzz?

I haven't heard anything about RotT ARCs, but I know some authors aren't doing them so much anymore, due to piracy and other reasons.

(I read one author's horror story about having an ARC of her book widely reproduced and read online, and her fans getting upset over errors and scenes that she edited in her finished copies, etc. Lame fans. Not sure if anything like that is at play with MWT, though. *polishes the QT fandom's halo*)

Haven't heard anything about the arc. Which does make me a little nervous that there will be another delay. However, the publisher could also not be doing one for RoT. It is a little odd though...

Piracy and spoilers. That's a good point.

Yikes! Complaining about what is essentially a final proof that is given out for free? Some fans...

I could definitely see not wanting to pre-release a book that's sure to be chock full of spoilers that have been 24 years in the making.

I haven't heard a peep about an ARC yet. I know publishers have cut way back on them, rather than giving them away like crazy at conferences like they used to. The publishing world is so different from how it used to be, and I imagine COVID has only made it moreso.
