where and when are you all getting your copies of RoT?

Of course I want to get a copy ASAP, but am not sure what the fastest safest way is.  If one orders on Amazon, sometimes it comes early, but sometimes late....If I order at my local bookstore for pick up in store, that should be safe, but what if the bookstore closes becuase everyone gets sick, and no other bookstore around has it???/

I'm getting my hardcover copy from the bookstore where MWT is doing her launch party, but seeing as that will (probably?) be delayed by a couple days, I will probably purchase the ebook from Amazon so I can start reading (and highlighting)!

I've pre-ordered a hard copy and the ebook/audiobook on Amazon. If you want the make sure you get a copy as soon as possible, the ebook is the way to go.

I know it may seem silly to have both hard copies and electronic copies, but the ebook is included when you purchase the audiobook, so that's nice. The ebook also comes in handy when you need to do a word search for research purposes. :)

I have solved this problem by pre-ordering three copies of the book, which is unprecedented for me. We pre-ordered a copy when it was first announced, and then I decided to get the ebook in case shipping totally shuts down. Then I saw the virtual event, so I guess we'll see which physical copy gets here first and have the ebook to read immediately in case neither physical copy arrives as soon as I'd like. In other news, I may have an extra copy in case anyone needs one. :)

I've ordered one from Amazon, and I'm also getting one via the launch party. Both real books. I hate e-books with a burning passion, and will buy only those that I can't get any other way. And I don't like audiobooks, either.

I have the ebook preordered. I also have two hardcover books ordered; one from the book launch and one from Mac’s Books (that’s the one I ordered first). One way or another, I will be reading it soon!

I've ordered a print copy and a kindle copy. So my kindle copy will arrive at Midnight on release day--that's all I really need to be happy. My print copy is there to look pretty on my shelf. :).

lol last time I ended up with three copies (one virtual and two hard cover) - I think this time I'm just going to do the launch party copy and get the ebook to read right away. Then again I have two complete sets so might as well get another...

So I wish I read this before I ordered, but it probably would have been the same.
