I appreciate all the hard work that went into this amd know that book-related merch wasn't the same kind of fad it is now with subscriptionboxes, etc.

Well, I'm freaking out about it now that I know about it!

Actually, what I said was, "Oh, no."
And my husband repeated it, but as a question, "Oh, no?"
"Owl Crate has official QT merchandise," I announced.
And he replied (with resignation, I think), "Oh, no, indeed."
Which is about as much freaking out as we can do because our kids use up all the drama in our house.

@whataliethatwas I was actually more about to freak out why your post hadn't hit my RSS reader yet, but then I realized you only posted this about an hour ago and my reader doesn't update THAT often. So...

@cannonisrelative I'm curious what the candle smells like, too. Hopefully "atte atte" doesn't smell like battle! :-) I think "Do not offend the gods" is a water bottle, not a candle, though. I expect "The River Knows It's Time" t-shirt will be joining my already excessive book-related t-shirt collection.

I am very excited about these, but I confess I do wish they'd done a little more with the rest of the series instead of being quite so heavily rott-leaning, but I don't know anything about making merchandise for books that are years old like this series.

I agree @whataliethatwas. I'm thrilled to have officially licensed QT merchandise to buy (thank you, thank you, thank you MWT & Owl Crate) and will do so, but...

there are SO MANY wonderful lines from earlier in the series. And I've loved some of those for years and years and years and I would throw ALL MY MONEY at beautiful (legal) merch that uses them.

Yes! I saw this the other day and freaked out. FINALLY, after all these years, some actual merch! I already ordered both t-shirts and both journals. I don't use the latter, but I want them on my shelf. I don't allow myself candles (cuz absentmindedness + fire = bad), and I already have a lot of totes and water bottles.....but these two might still end up in my cart at some point.
