MWT's contest to win an ARC of Thick As Thieves is officially over. Take a look at some of the beautiful art and heartfelt stories on Megan's Tumblr page. It's fantastic to see every person's different interpretation of their love of the QT books. Good thing she decided from the start to award the prize via a random number generator. There's no way anyone could ever decide what is the "best" entry.

Readaloud Updates

Hello, Sounisians!

You may have seen that we have a new readaloud master post, courtesy of the wonderful checkers65477. Go and look at it! Listen to the lovely chapters.

If you're interested in hearing my voice again, there is a *brand new* chapter: King of Attolia - Chapter 6. In it you will find Costis on a rollercoaster of emotions. I had a lot of fun recording his conversation with Aris about whether or not to tell Eugenides about selling gossip to Baron Susa (even if he didn't mean to). Hopefully you all enjoy!

If you're not a member of the community, you should totally join so that you can listen to the amazing recordings that fellow fans have done. (PS, have ya'll listened to Chapter 7 of The Thief by scottykarade? It's sooo good! It's got sound effects! And music!)

Which brings me to my next Readaloud update:

With a new book (and thus new chapters) forthcoming, I think it would be a good idea to finish up some of the chapters we have already claimed. If you don't want to/aren't able to/are not even reading this post, then just feel free to do nothing. We will be clearing the assignments of ALL unrecorded chapters at the end of this month. That is, unless we hear from you that you want to keep your chapter. You don't have to finish it by the end of the month, you just have to let us know you still want it. Comment here, or on the readaloud post and just say "I want to keep my chapter" or something.

We originally set a loose deadline of one year after claiming a chapter to have it recorded. It's been closer to 10 years for a lot of these, so I think this is pretty fair. Keep in mind, you don't have to record your chapter by the end of the month, but it would be pretty cool to get some fully recorded books, so consider carefully if you want to keep your claimed chapter.

If you want to read a chapter, but your favorite one was claimed by someone else then keep an eye on the master list in the next few weeks. Maybe your chapter will become available! Also, there are still a bunch of chapters of A Conspiracy of Kings available if you want to start recording right away. ;)
