I've finished reading the King of Attolia just today and posted up some thoughts about it, as well as contemplating the series as a whole here in this post at my journal.

No spoilers or discussion of plot points-- just general musings on characterization and Turner's overall brilliance.

PS. I was so relieved I wasn't the only one to find Crown Duel about, say, four hundred pages too long!!!

re: Crown Duel -- I couldn't finish it. My sister loved them, but I got bored stiff. I did enjoy the Wren books by the same author, though, and I wish she had written more of those instead.
