I received this email from Megan Whalen Turner today:

Can you post this itinerary for me?

I am going to be in Washington DC until the 30th of July.  Then I am 
driving up the North East Coast with the family.  I'll be in Boston on August 
3 and 4.  Is there anybody who would like to meet at a convenient Starbucks or 
bookstore?

I will be at the OELMA conference in October and I am hoping that you 
can tell them where the OELMA conference will be, because I can't 
remember.  Dayton? Cincinnati?

I will also be in Toronto, Ontario in October at a conference at UT.  
There should be two or three public signings there, but I'm pretty sure 
there are  also Starbucks in Canada.

And finally, I hope to meet emerald at the starbucks across from the 
British Museum sometime during the week between Christmas and 
New Year's this year.   Emerald, be there or be square.

Anyone who would like to get a book signed or would just like to 
provide me with a face to go with your name on lj, please e-mail to

The OELMA conference is in Dayton, btw, and is around Oct. 17.  peggy_2and I are planning on going to the book signing there.  For those of you who are shy, you can read about the Cincy visit and the N. California one and see how happy those folks were that they went.

*is so SO tempted to just disappear for a roadtrip to DC* I mean, it's only about 700 miles away... I'd only be gone for about 3 or 4 days... I can't get TOO lost as long as I find a good map... no one will notice! ;)

but really, whoever does meet Megan HAS to turn on his or her awesome memory skills and tell us ALL about it :D

Ha, a stalker here, who is definitely going to hop over to Boston... Yeah, I was wondering the same thing about who was going to pick where. I'm not familiar with any of the livejournal folks here (see my apologies/intro in the above thread about Attolian Appreciation Day etc) and am very nervous about meeting up with her. I also don't know Boston very well (to my shame, living only an hour away) and don't want to be lost.... hmmmm...

As for whether this will draw out stalkers/lurkers - huh, yuh think? :-D I'm definitely drawn out! :-)

you have to get rid of both the A and the T - it's just @harpercollins, not @Tharperscollins - I forgot to ditch the T as well, whoops. :-D good luck!
