Another Convert

I have sold another member of my f-list on MWT's books, and her review of The Queen of Attolia is quite awesome (the opening paragraph made me laugh until I hurt). She also did an earlier review of The Thief.

I can't wait to see what she thinks of Book Three! *rubs hands and cackles*

Now that I think about it, the first time I read QoA, when the whole Gen/Irene thing came to light, my reaction at first was, "WHAT?!"

But after reading the rest of the book, and KoA, and re-reading, my reaction is, "Of course!"

I think most people, upon reading KoA, tend to like the relationship, even if they were uncertain at the end of QoA. I think that at the end of QoA, it seems that everything might be okay, but you're not entirely sure. But then you read KoA, and the awesome becomes evident.

Oh, hooray. It makes me so happy that people are loving these books. And I love the initial reactions. I know what happens so well that its kinda remember what it was like to not know, you know?

Yet more proof that Gen and Lymond are related...I don't think I've seen as much Dunnett plugging as I have in this community. Odd and wonderful.

Ok, I was a huge sucker for Gen/Irene, as in an "awww, that's amazing" kind of reaction. It shouldn't work but it does, which is what makes the books and Irene so wonderful. Says me.
