Hi, i'm new here and I have a big question. As much as I love Megan Whalen Turner, her website is sadly lacking. So what I want to know is, does she still do appearances/book signings? Is she working on any other books? Is there another source for info like this then the official website? Thank You! (Sorry if this is posted, I went into the archives but I couldn't find it.)

Megan has said that she is working on another book in the series. She does some signings--where abouts do you live? (Continent? Country? State?) This site is probably the best source for info. What do you want to know? We can steer you in the right direction!

Yes the Beatles are brilliant. I live in Minnesota, land of ice. (We just got several inches of snow two days ago.)Do you know if shes coming to Minnesota or Wisconsin? I could drive there... Wikipedia claims that the Thief,Queen,and King are a trilogy which I hope Is NOT TRUE!!

Well, she's working on the 4th book in the trilogy but has given no indication of when we might expect it.

In the meantime, if you didn't already know, there is a short story included in the paperback King of Attolia, and someone (=>checkers) has a link to a Disney story about Young!Gen.

Welcome! And I'm in Wisconsin, so double welcome! We need to poke her about coming into the area for book signings and triple espresso tours of used book stores.

Thnx So much for all the help! I did know about the short stories, but can I get it online without downloading it? My computer is........not to be trusted when it comes to that sort of thing. Graggh I hope the book doesnt take as long as the time between The Queen and the King did!!

I am still blown away that MWT took the time last year to stop on a drive with all her family up the east coast to chat for an hour or so with 2 of us at a bookstore in Connecticut, at which time she did allow as how she was working on Book 4 (what an awful sentence!). It was a nice bookstore (the Book Barn in Niantic), but still--above and beyond.
