Anyway, because I know there some John Green fans on here as well as librarians, I thought I should bring this to your attention. Apparently John wants to tour about the country and is open to requests as to where these places might be, which you may suggest and vote for here: http://eventful.com/performers/john-and-hank-green-/P0-001-000130366-6

Also, he mentions in his youtube vlog that, if any librarians are interested in hosting a John Green thing, to email him. The request is at about 01:40 of the video embedded herewith.

Octopirock, if I can impersonate a librarian, and Pascalle can impersonate a DIRECTOR OF A LIBRARIAN CON I'm sure you could get away with it.

Just go easy on the "shushing" jokes - they are not always amused by them, if they suspect an outsider

if you do suceed, of course you may need to come up with a library, but maybe a bookstore would do. They're much of a muchness, after all.

I AM a librarian, and what's more, one who lives and works in the same state as John Green. Unfortunately, I'm pretty much the youngest, most newly-hired librarian at my library, and while I can squee all over the place about how we NEED to have the brothers Green come, I have no authority to make it so. :(
