Date: 3/1/06 05:08 pm (UTC)THat was SOOOOOO cool. I'm so excited I can't find the words to properly comment on all the fabulous content.
I'll be back when I've stopped bubbling over with glee.

Date: 3/1/06 05:16 pm (UTC)I mean, wow. It's interesting to know that Gen's the last thief, but it does make sense. But I'm going to have to sit now and speculate for ages on the possible answers to the goddess and mountain questions. And it's good to know that there will be another book! Another book of short stories would be wonderful too, Instead of Three Wishes is fantastic.
I have to go read your lovely post over again. Thank you for going (and see, it wasn't so bad). And hey, likin' the badges. Loving the photos (two hands on the steering wheel!).
I wonder if I should take her awareness that people will be camped out on her lawn as obscure permission to do just that. ;)

Date: 3/1/06 05:27 pm (UTC)Bear, you are a wonderful Sounisian ambassador. I am indeed jealous. That is all so awesome. If you think of more, tell!
Because I was indeed recognized.
Did she say, "Oh, it's YOU,
Sejanus is coming back...there's a strong likelihood for a next 'thief' book
What's your take on all this?
Oh yeah, and Checkers: In response to your comment about "are we getting too obscure with our questions",
*winces* Erm...she's not mad at me is she? For asking?
So, who wished they had l'esprit d'escalier?

Yeah, because now that I think about it, that wasn't on the list of questions. MWT remembered that from my post!! *double wince*

Date: 3/1/06 06:31 pm (UTC)I am so jealous you got to meet her! And to ask her those awesome questions! The Thief has been my favorite book EVER since I first read it in 6th grade (About 10 years ago, rofl) and I am so happy there might be even more thief-goodness. =3 She is an AMAZING writer, as we all know. I'm so excited for you!!!

Date: 3/1/06 06:55 pm (UTC)she says "Do you know how long it took me to figure out what happened at the end of Fire and Hemlock (by DWJ)?"
Does this mean she's figured out what happened at the end? I've been working on that for five years and still haven't figured it out. :) She really is a genius! :D

That is ... that is so cool!! And she mentioned DWJ and Fire and Hemlock, it's like an author CROSSOVER!

Date: 3/1/06 07:48 pm (UTC)That would have TOTALLY ruled, if she had said that :)
What's my take on all this? You mean Sejanus? Because I, personally, hope he falls in a well and dies. But there's a lot more potential for Eugenides to ruin his life even more >D
No, she's not mad :) I think she was glad we were asking so many retardedly in-depth questions...it's not going over our heads, you know?
Re: squee
Date: 3/1/06 08:06 pm (UTC)No, I mean, you made it sound like Sejanus WOULD be back and Eugenides MIGHT be back.

*cackles* That would have been fantastic. What did she actually say? When she realised whom you were, I mean.
