I mean, wow. It's interesting to know that Gen's the last thief, but it does make sense. But I'm going to have to sit now and speculate for ages on the possible answers to the goddess and mountain questions. And it's good to know that there will be another book! Another book of short stories would be wonderful too, Instead of Three Wishes is fantastic.

The Thief has been my favorite book EVER since I first read it in 6th grade (About 10 years ago, rofl) and I am so happy there might be even more thief-goodness. =3 She is an AMAZING writer, as we all know. Oh, and, I forgot: The reason why (traditionally) nobody talks about the thief of Eddis is that 1) it's like, an occupational hazard -- how could they be sneaky if everyone knows about them? and 2) because, walking that fine line between being the thief's friend and his target, if you talk about said thief, you never know when they're listening (conspiracy room, yo)...and if they don't like what they hear, they could decide that you could have some very "bad luck". So it's best to err on the side of caution.
