this is my intro, so, um, hi there! i was introduced to the series by 'thelasteddis' a resident o' these parts. anyways, i read the series in a couple days flat and will be reading it again many times. my favorite book in the series is King of Attolia, but then i have a hard time picking absolute favorites. i think gen is totallly awesome (no suprises there) and i am thinking of being him for halloween, for he is by far my favorite character (of course). Um, yeah. So, um.. i said hi, and uh.... yeah. So, um... see y'al later!

Gen for Halloween - what a great idea! will you go as Young!Gen or King!Gen? Hiding objects in your hair (is that where the candy will go?)? one hand missing or one a fancy hook? dressed in a coat with gold frogs or out for a night of thievish escapades?

you could hand out cards with the title and author, maybe even isbn's!, for everyone who asks about your costume :-)

i would probabally be gen from QoA. unfortunately my hair isn't long enough (anymore) to be young gen so to be book acurate i will probabally end up looking something similar to gen on the cover of QoA. oh and most likely dressed for a night of thievish escapades. i have even taught myself to pick locks.

I'm sure CT will end up on CNN for lock-picking related reprobatish behavior at some point. I'm going to the same Halloween party as Eddis, so it would be my job to pay for medical care when they cut off his hand on live TV... Dang. I'll make sure one of us gets pics, I promise!

To start: It's a good thing you mentioned that I got you hooked on QT, because although I'm all Eddis on the outside, I have an Attolia side, too...
I thought you were dressing up as Barbossa! What happened to that? And that's totally not fair, because if you were going as Gen I would tried to come up with an Eddis costume! Can't you wait until next year, so we can match? I'll need to push my Jodila (she's a character from Wind on Fire by William Nicholson) idea back again, but I'd love to be Eddis so much...
