What's going to happen next?

queensthiefSometime this week around three years ago, a few of us got tired of trying to have the discussions that Megan's books demand on the allscifi message board, and migrated over to livejournal land. Sounis soon exploded into a community of thoughtful and enthusiastic people who always have something interesting to say, and with a real talent for generating crack. The crack continues, but so do the questions and the discussion on everything from whether Sam Neill or Alan Rickman would be better as the Magus to where on earth Sophos has gotten to.
What with the recent announcement of the fourth book in the hopefully-not-too-distant future, it seems appropriate to bring out an old discussion topic: what's going to happen next?! Whether you still think that Nahusaresh is Sophos in disguise, stand firm that Gen's going to end up ruling the world, (or his little part of it at least), or have an entirely new theory, let us know what you think.
And here's to another year. :)

In conclusion, I have no idea, I will just wait like a good girl and wait until the person with actual plotting skills tells me (aka, MWT).
In other news, I will be posting more fanart soon. My theory is that if I keep telling people this I will eventually do it out of guilt. :)

Date: 11/2/08 09:05 pm (UTC)On a more serious note, I do think that Sophos will turn up again. I think if he was dead, he would've been found by now rather than everyone still wondering where he is.
Of course, there is always the chance that he ran off and eloped with the magus in secret.I'm also figuring the Mede empire is going to play its largest part yet. I don't see them just going down without a fight. I'm hoping the Continent will get involved as well and introduce another slew of new characters....I'd really like for Gen and Irene to have a baby, too... I mean, they have to produce an heir at some point and Gen seems like he'd be a great father. Although still not knowing how old he is, maybe that's something for later? Or at least for when times have calmed down.
Any thoughts on whose point of view the next book'll be in?
And does anyone know if this'll be the last book..? D:

So the next book must be some horrible Relius/Gen slashfic. I probably won't even read it.
