eddis.livejournal.comI love Gen. I think we all do, actually. And so of course when KoA was going to come out I did the whole, run around the house skipping-thing.
I also started to write a fanfic. The first thing in my head was how Gen hated to kill people and how the court at the end of Queen disliked him. The first scene of the fanfic was, well, Gen killing some assassins and then freaking out to his guard and asking why *HE* had to be the one killing people.
Needless to say, I almost died when he did that in KoA. Of course in my scene it was the throne room and I made Attolia a little too nice, but the similarity was still beautiful. I felt all smart thinking like MWT.
I had another fanfic somewhere that Gen's son wanted to be Thief and not King and so a pact had to be made with Eddis over what would happen...
But that's for another time.
