Two emails from Megan:

Subject:  A Plan!

On Wednesday August 1, I will be in Niantic, CT
I plan to stop at 3:30 p.m.  at The Book Barn

Locations:
The Book Barn
41 West Main St.
Niantic, CT 06357

(860) 739-5715

I will be driving up from Philadelphia so I see potential here
for World Class Failure to be on time.  I will call the Book Barn
and let them know if I am going to be late.  You can check in with
them when you arrive.  If you send me a phone number, I can
try to call you directly.  I'll have the entire family with me, so my
attention may not be undivided.  I'lll probably hang out for
an hour or so and then press on for Mystic Seaport.

On Friday Evening, I will be in Boston at the
Harvard Coop.
They are open until ten pm.  I thought I would shoot for 8 o'clock,
We can move it a little earlier, but I will be driving up from
Naragansett that day, and two people asked if the meeting
could be later in the day rather than earlier.

This isn't carved in stone.  We can talk about changes in the
comments, and I will ask checkers or peggy to update this
post as we amend the schedule.   I am sorry
njlibrarian, I will wave as we drive through NJ.  I promise I will
come back some day; I want to see the new library in Princeton.

Followed by this:

Subject:  well, it was a plan

just read the comments that protested the friday meet at harvard
coop.  it opens at nine am, so it is just possible that I could meet
then if it  works out better for people.

Note this part:  We can talk about changes in the  comments

Comment below, folks, and we'll come up with an updated plan.  Hopefully you all weren't joking when you offered to babysit. :)

It's Friday.  Time for another episode of While She Knits (although she actually is meeting with fangirls, not knitting).

I have two questions for everyone.

[profile] anachred  mentioned that she is reading Jonathon Strange & Mr. Norrell, by Suzanna Clarke.  For those who have read it (without TOO many spoilers, please) what did you think of it?

What else have everyone been reading this week? *coughHP7cough*

Edit:  I completely forgot to mention - Sounis has 201 members!
