Moulin Rouge

So I just re watched Moulin Rouge (again) and saw a lot of similarities between Gen-Irene relationship and Christian-Satine relationship. Satine even likes the red dress, it's the only one she wears when she's not acting. also, Christian has to make her take off her mask and see that loving him is ok, and they have to hide their relationship at first for political reasons. I'm definitely for the Elephant Love Medley as a good Gen-Irene song. I think I'm a bit crazy seeing parallels to The Queen's Thief everywhere though...
