First attempt at sketching Eugenides and Attolia

Alright, so naturally seeing all of the sketches by other people (and suggesting actors for various characters) has got my fingers twitching and I had to have a go at drawing Eugenides and/or Attolia. These are rough sketches that I eventually had to give up on because (a) I apparently cannot draw mens' bodies/clothing to my satisfaction, and (b) I cannot draw hands. *sigh*

Also, I apologize for the quality of the pics (very faint and fuzzy). I don't happen to have a scanner at my house, nor access to one until next weekend...so I improvised by trying to take a picture of the sketches with my camera.

So, here goes. Eugenides (the pic I was least pleased with):



And Attolia (with no hands!):



I may get back to these at some point and attempt to finish them...maybe...

It may be the first to really strike me as what I think of when I think of him. And is that a dimple I espy?

I like Gen's youth, and the expression on Irene's face and how she looks a bit older. It looks like they could be having a staring match, and she's upset with him and he's trying to laugh her out of it. :-)
