Thank you for the help, however you found me.  As often happens with me, I must have figured things out late, late last night before I went to bed but well after I had asked for help, since when I logged on this morning the top of the screen showed that I was a member of Sounis!  Oh, yea, calloo callay.
I feel quite privileged to get help from both of you, since TieGirl (my sister) sort of indicated to me that you were the movers and shakers of Sounis.  Thanks again.

She suggested I read The Thief and told me she really, really, really liked it. I know she has excellent tastes in books, so I jumped right in, and loved it myself. The Thief is still my favorite, but I recently reread all three in reverse order and discovered I liked looking at all three as one giant book. Wayyyy cool. I find, very conventionally I am afraid, that I tend to like the main protagonist best. That said, however, Attolia intrigues me mightally. There are depths and depths that we lowly readers will probably never navigate.

I'm a little weirded out... given that it was, what, five months ago? that I ran up to my mom starstruck saying, "MOM PIGRESCUER AND ROWANA AND EMERALD AND, LIKE, ALL THE OTHER SOUNISIANS ACUTALLY RESPONDED TO THIS THING I POSTED AND I'M FREAKING OUT 'CAUSE THEY ARE SO COOL AND THEY KNOW I EXIST!!!!"

Oh, dear, dear, dear. I did not realize I "fangirled" you. I hope I did not step over any lines or even boundaries. Actually, though, I am in awe of all of you. You know so much about MWT and her books, which of course I have read, but compared to you all I know nothing!
