There will be another regular chat held at The Conspiracy Room this Saturday. 4-5 Eastern US time, 9-10 GMT as usual. Again, if anyone really wants to come but can't make it, comment and we should be able to sort something out. :) Iris might drop in on Saturday too, for anyone who's interested in the mini-game he's trying to design for The Thief. The transcript will be posted for anyone who can't make it, but it would be nice to see as many people as possible. Lurkers, posters, all.

The password is 'Sophos' (with a capital S).

Sadly I have to be at work at 5. =(

Where can I find the chat, should I want to drop by?

I probably can't make it to the chat, but don't worry about changing the time.

About the game: you realize that there has to be a level for the temple/maze. (It's too obvious to keep it out.) You could lay it out similarly to how it's described in the book, but maybe with a few more turns, forks, etc. And for the trick room, it would be cool if you stepped in, then had to immediately turn and jump to jam your fingers into the door. If such things were possible, of course. Then, once you broke though the obsidian wall, you could have a mini movie, showing the scene with the gods. Then you would have to race back through the maze, trying to keep ahead of the water.

You can complicate or simplify this as much as you want, depending on how much of that is possible, how much work you want to do, etc.

Haha! Did you do that on purpose?! Either way, that's pretty hilarious. :)

If you'd been to the last chat, you'd know that this is how you spell typo when you make a typo! We thought it was pretty funny at the time. Glad you think so, too.
