**Warning**
The follow contains information of the most elating and extreme.
Hmm... Two posts in a row. I am quite talkative today.
I did a little web searching after the title, A Conspiracy of Kings, was announced; and I found something exciting.
The Canadian Amazon site has a specific date listed.
March 10, 2010
Here is the link if you want to see for yourself.
www.amazon.ca/Conspiracy-Kings-Megan-W-Turner/dp/0061870935/ref=sr_1_10/182-4531927-5247648?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1244263138&sr=1-10
Now, I know what you are thinking. March is in spring not winter, but technically March 10th is in winter. The vernal equinox is on March 20th. Spring does not start until that day.
My suspicions are that Mrs. Turner told her publisher to say winter, because she is sneaky and enjoys confusing us. Canada was not fooled. If there are any Canadians on this blog your Amazon site is wonderful.
There is also the possibility that the date is wrong, but we shall see.
Let us cross our fingers and hope.

Date: 6/6/09 04:29 pm (UTC)Sorry, TA. It's hard to imagine that your seasons come at the opposite time of the year. Christmas in summer. That's hard to fathom.
Lets see...
Winter would be summer for you, and spring would be fall. Is that correct?
So for you, it would be summer 2010.

Date: 6/6/09 04:48 pm (UTC)BTW, Annikah. You are a fan a Gerald Morris. Correct? Since there is, sadly, a lack of internet fan-girling for his books, I was thinking of setting up a comm devoted to The Squire's Tales. It will be a little while coming to fruition. I don't have time right now, but would you be interested?

Date: 6/6/09 05:28 pm (UTC)I talked to somebody about them on the gift card post. A quick look back tells me it was actually Sclerotia. Your usernames look alike to me for some strange reason. Please, accept my apologizes. I am often a very confused person.
Yes, you should certainly read them. There are currently eight books in the series with the ninth to be released in September. They are very amazing, and quite true to the original tales of King Arthur. I promise you will laugh quite a bit too.
You can read the first few pages on Amazon. I would link you, but computer is disagreeing.

Date: 6/6/09 02:14 pm (UTC)You're sure now. I wouldn't underestimate Mrs. Turner.
It certainly could be a reference to publishing seasons not real seasons. I hope this date is correct, because I don't want to wait till December.

Date: 6/6/09 02:32 pm (UTC)Yes, I've talked myself into believing that we have less than a year to wait!

Date: 6/6/09 02:49 pm (UTC)BTW, the "sneakiness" part was actually a joke. I don't suspect Green Willow or Mrs. Turner of trying to trick us.
