     **Warning**

The follow contains information of the most elating and extreme.
[livejournal.com profile] tiegirl  and [livejournal.com profile] inkasrain  promptly passed out after reading this. You have been warned.

Hmm... Two posts in a row. I am quite talkative today.

I did a little web searching after the title, A Conspiracy of Kings, was announced; and I found something exciting.

The Canadian Amazon site has a specific date listed.

     March 10, 2010

Here is the link if you want to see for yourself.

www.amazon.ca/Conspiracy-Kings-Megan-W-Turner/dp/0061870935/ref=sr_1_10/182-4531927-5247648?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1244263138&sr=1-10

Now, I know what you are thinking. March is in spring not winter, but technically March 10th is in winter. The vernal equinox is on March 20th. Spring does not start until that day.

My suspicions are that Mrs. Turner told her publisher to say winter, because she is sneaky and enjoys confusing us. Canada was not fooled. If there are any Canadians on this blog your Amazon site is wonderful.

There is also the possibility that the date is wrong, but we shall see.

Let us cross our fingers and hope.

My fingers are so crossed. And toes and everything else. They CAN'T make us wait that long.

I may or may not have just doodled a bunch of hearts around March 10th on my calendar.

Awesome! Less than a year!

That's correct. :D

I was thinking that too, [livejournal.com profile] ninedaysaqueen. January and February tend to be more winterish than December, so! I'm glad I wasn't the only one thinking there might be two winters in 2010. ;)

Er, actually, I haven't read any of Gerald Morris. But a quick google search has told me that I definitely should. Not only does he write books in my academic time period, but he went to my alma mater. So, there is potential that I would be interested in a Squire's comm. Let me know when it's up!

No worries. I got a recommendation out of it. :) I just finished an Arthurian Legend course, too.

Winter is a publishing season, not an actual season. :) HarperCollins has three seasons which are Winter (January-April), Summer (May-August) and Fall (Sept-Dec). Which means that the date given on Amazon.ca could well be correct; CONSPIRACY falls firmly within the Winter publishing season, and therefore no sneakiness was intended.

I believe the announcement of "Winter of 2010" came from Greenwillow, not Mrs. Turner. I think we can assume that if a publisher is saying "winter" they mean publishers' winter, not meteorologists' winter.
Yes, I've talked myself into believing that we have less than a year to wait!
Yipeeeee!!!

But.. that's less than a YEAR! I am not prepared!

Also, it means the gaps between books are getting smaller again. ^_^

4, 6, 4...

Megan probably never had 438 people on her back before. In addition to however many real life people, too. Yikes.

I hope this is true! It makes sense. I'd be a little surprised if it was at the end of the year.
