As well as somehow gaining the undignified title of Court Jester i somehow also managed to adopt a languge. Anyone who would like to learn Pottish please contact me ^^.

Last night was very helpful and thanks to those who came, amongst which were Checkers, Anon and Fabricalchemist, I dont think ive missed anyone out ;D

You guys helped me understand the book even more and helped in the vision of what is now feverishly called "The Game!"

If you have read the first post on my own journal you would know that i am completely new to the whole LJ thing ^^. So please forgive me if I start making errors in your sacred, refined and sanctified ways! Because i won't just have MWT's hanging to be scared of but also "The Cult's".

Ah well, again if you have any suggestions about the game, please do tell me, and ive nearly finished "The Thief" now!

I think level wise we thought of some ideas, just to give an picture of what kind of things to base levels on:

Level 1: Teh seal ring stealage (Megaron)! - Basically an introduction to the game, the aim of the level is to steal the seal ring whilst having a little stop by at the records room.

Level 2: The Inn - Sneak past the cook and get the food! (And extra Hair ties) yep this is not only a fun little mission throught the kitchen but also introduces you to the horse riding in the game.

Level 3: Erm a bit vague at the moment but i think something about getting through the mountains and getting down the goat path and maybe a bit about the sea of olives or stealing olives from the roadside.

Imaginative suggestions about the following levels such as further into the sea of olives and later in the Ddystopia are all welcome. Any changes that you think will help to these 3 levels are also much appreciated.

Some ideas of what levels should be based around are things like : 3 levels , one for each night, in the maze.
a level for horse stealing in sounis.
a level of fighting off the queen's guards and the attolian guards at the cliff.
a level escaping from the prison and getting over the bridge whilst evading the Queen's guards rifle shots.

ahem anyways, i leave it to you to help me come up with MORE! to put into each level ^^

Have fun pondering.

Twilight (Iris) out.

I didn't realise you thought of us as a cult. ;) Finish the books already.

Cheezluva posted a good level suggestion with some detail about the maze a while ago. Here's the text:

About the game: you realize that there has to be a level for the temple/maze. (It's too obvious to keep it out.) You could lay it out similarly to how it's described in the book, but maybe with a few more turns, forks, etc. And for the trick room, it would be cool if you stepped in, then had to immediately turn and jump to jam your fingers into the door. If such things were possible, of course. Then, once you broke though the obsidian wall, you could have a mini movie, showing the scene with the gods. Then you would have to race back through the maze, trying to keep ahead of the water.

You can complicate or simplify this as much as you want, depending on how much of that is possible, how much work you want to do, etc.

Whaddya think?

Cult? "Community" sounds so much better, albeit less accurate.

can you do a level where you have to make it safely down the shale slope on the side of the mountain? extra points if you knock rocks down on the people below you.

I forgot about the goat path on the side of the mountain. That would be a good acrobatics level.

The shale slope is on the way down to the miniture temple, in Eddis. The goat path is a rocky, narrow path down to the Sea of Olives in Attolia. Gen mentions that he was willing to be the first down the goat path because there were no rocks to kick down.
