philippas, who actually introduced me to the Queen's Thief series, sent me a present in the mail:
I've fallen in love with bags before (also shoes), but I don't know that I've ever squeed quite like I did when I opened this package, and then I smiled like a goofy teenager in love for the rest of the day. I'm still doing that, truth be told. I wish I could take a better picture of the Gift (it actually has some contouring that makes it look exactly like it does on the cover), but here's a close up:
I'm considering copying this design for a t-shirt. Or perhaps a tattoo for my forehead, who knows? Before I get carried away, though, I mustn't forget the little tag sewn inside:
