Fangirl with a Peashooter: A Success
Jul. 27th, 2009 10:20 amSo because of that connection between the new book and a peashooter, I was curious to see how fun it would be to use such a "weapon". Despite the lack of offensive use, the peashooter turned out to be fun to experiment with.
Mira: *sees brother with a straw and remembers the can of uncooked beans in the kitchen*
*finds straw and goes to can of beans*
Mira’s sister: Are you going to make a peashooter?
Mira: Yeah, ‘cause Sophos has a peashooter. You too?
Mira’s sister: No, I’m going to plant these.
Mira: Oh. *leaves with beans and straw to try out the peashooter*
Mira: *fails miserably*
*goes back to sister*
Mira: I keep swallowing the bean.
Mira’s sister: *also has a straw* you do it like this, you put the bean in your mouth and blow it out with the straw.
Mira: Oh.
*is too busy fangirl-ing to be embarrassed by the fact that she is being taught to use a peashooter by her younger sister*
Mira and Mira’s sister: *shoot various people with peashooters*
Mira’s dad: *comes in*
Mira: Look dad, we have peashooters.
Mira’s dad: *sees the mess of beans*
Mira, you’re making a mess.
Mira: But it’s a peashooter.
Mira’s dad: *tells her to take the peashoot-ing outside*
*sees sister’s pile of beans*
Mira’s sister: I’m going to plant these.
Mira: *does mental facepalm*
I urge you all to try it, for the sake of fan-girl/boy-ing.
