Audiobook & Hardcovers
Apr. 23rd, 2006 04:03 pmI'm not good at answering questions. I thought I knew a fair ammount about the books, but seing some of these questions here made me realise that I need to do some re-reading. So I rented The Thief on book-on-tape at the library. Has anyone else heard it? I think that the narrator is quite good.
Also, I was at Borders the other day. I wanted to buy The Thief and The Queen of Attolia in hardcover to match my King of Attolia book, but they only had those books in paperback. Does anyone know if they sell hardcovers for those books in the new covers?

Date: 4/23/06 11:50 pm (UTC)I listened to The Thief on audiobook. I especially liked the way the narrator did the Magus's voice. It was a perfect mix of intelligence + snottiness. And something about listening to the book on tape makes you notice all the details, I think. Parts of it were funnier, somehow, on tape.

I wish that there were audio tapes for the other 2 for when I don't have time to read but can listen to the books while I work or something.
