Please forgive me for not replying to each comment individually. Let me say thank you all so much for the comments in my last post. And the info on Helen too. Everyone is extremely nice. I'm so flattered. XD

I was out all day and came back late. But I just had to give in to my muse at draw Helen. XD

I was frustrated at picking out her clothes. As a lost cause at fashion, it's so hard to decide what's right for each character to wear. I wish there was an official guide or a movie or something. ;o; This time, I just opted to simple clothing... which I'm sure is very not byzantine-like >_>; and please forgive the ugly sword. It was past midnight T_T

My next step is to try to draw them with more emotions, like Helen smiling, Attolia frowning, and Gen... being Gen. XDD

And I do wanna draw Costis. will need to extract his description out of the book when I have time.

To answer some of the questions in the last entry, yes, sometimes I color. I have an deviantart account here. But coloring takes time and energy which I can't afford right now. Whoever want to color my art (which I'll be thrilled), consider it a free game. ^_^

Whew~ that's quite long. Hope I didn't make too many horrible mistake with my English. ^^

Lovely! I especially love her curly hair, and her hands (hands are very hard to get right, your hand drawings look wonderfully natural and real) and the drape of her clothing.

If I remember MWT's descriptions right, Eddis is short, sturdily built, and not beautiful by most people's standards, but I know that manga-style art makes everybody look slim and gorgeous so I'm not going to fault you for that (besides, I want you to keep drawing these characters!).

True about the whole manga-style making everyone pretty
but I'm sure compared to other women in the court this eddis looks a bit dull and underdressed
and Gen always said she didn't have beauty but she had much more than that! :]

Please do find faults. XDD I need that to improve my drawing. I do have problem distinguish people in my drawing, i.e. young, old, pretty, plain. They tend to look alike >_>;

Hands are fun to draw. Mirrors are my friend. ^_^

I actually think you did an excellent job distinguishing her from other manga-drawn characters. In fact, she looks less anime-like than both Gen and Irene. You got Helen's posture excellently drawn. I really like it, you did a good job of fitting her character into the drawing. Seriously, you're AMAZING. And you're English is very good, I never imagined it wasn't your first language until you pointed it out. Keep drawing please! But not if it causes you sleep deprivation! No one here wants you collapsing during the day because you spent so much time drawing fanart...

for your next work could we have an Eddis and Gen pic together? They are my two fav characters!!

You could also do scenes from the books!! and you could draw MoW, Costis, Magus, Sophos..Oh the possiblities! I wish I had your talent I'd be drawing all day!

I made an icon! I hope you don't mind. And I probably got the Eddisian colors wrong (I tried looking through one the books, 'cause I remember them mentioned somewhere, and failed). I just needed an Eddis icon and this drawing is so awesome. I don't pretend to be a great colorist(?), but it works.

I actually really like the clothing choice here, it's quite similar to how I picture Eddisian clothing, seeing as though it's a mountainous country, so they're going to have more layers/thicker fabric choices than Attolians. I can see this dress being made out of thicker cotton or wool, etc.

Eheheheh amazing how I still draw GW fanart every now and then after all these years. It's the fandom that keeps me going. I hope to find such fandom for Queen's thief too. Too bad I can't find a Japanese Eugenides fansite yet. They usually provide some best muses for drawing.

Perfect! I said last time that I don't usually like Anime/Manga style drawing, but I think you're now officially my favorite artist that has submitted drawings here. Eddis looks almost exactly how I pictured her, only pretty. You even remembered her crown, half buried in her curls. This is my favorite of the three that you've shown us so far.

This is gorgeous! I love her posture, and the way she's kinda leaning on her sword. And the hair (curling over the crown!) is wonderful. Like a few others have said, I see her as not so conventionally beautiful, but I know it's not Manga style - and she does really look much less mild than a lot of Manga, and complete with crooked nose.
